Greg Rubino to Speak In Public(???) Saturday in Crawford County

I don't know if you caught this in yesterday's Erie paper. Guess who is speaking on Environmental Issues at the Saturday Tea Party Rally in Crawford County? It's the man behind the curtain, or was that just behind closed doors? Greg Rubino...... Look at the new title he has. He's gone from being the president of ERE, Erie Renewable Energy to now being the Project Manager. Was it because of the bang-up job he did in Erie that he got demoted? Who now is the president? Crawford County Coroner, Patrick McHenry said, "What we're trying to do is get true answers to some of the questions out there." If he is only inviting Rubino to speak, then he really doesn't want the Truth. As Jack N. said, "You Can't Handle the Truth." Being a Coroner, McHenry isn't used to hearing both sides of an issue, no one ever talks back. I haven't seen the Meadville paper writing or asking questions about the people that are pushing this plant, their job experience, their background. How many plants have they built and currently operate? In China they said that they had built 80 plants around the world and have 4 in the US. In reality, the majority partner Caletta Renewable Energy was incorporated in 2005. I haven't found that they have built and operated any plant, anywhere.

Vic Gatto was at the public announcement with Rubino. He was VP of Molten Metals in 1992-1998 in Massachusetts. There they did work on melting down weapon systems. During that time Vic was paid 20 thousand a month. The company received 33 million dollars in Federal funding. In 1998 they declared bankruptcy and walked away. What are they planning here? Is anyone asking for a business plan? Where is 375 million coming from? Where are the required Tires coming from? If anyone does the math, it will cost up to 6 times the current rate for the electricity that they will generate. A smaller plant that burns tires in Illinois has gone bankrupt twice, and is now saying it will close if they don't get new state and federal funding that would come from calling burning tires renewable energy. Rubino had two different state Representatives try to insert an amendment into the PA Energy Bill to reclassify Burning Tires as Renewable. That was what the company in Illinois was trying to do. It was shot down by their state Senate. Rep. John Evans from Millcreek tried to do that for Rubino. Evans admitted to getting money from them.

Go ask questions, see if you can get any answers. We weren't answered in Erie, and couldn't get into the closed meetings with politicians and farmers that Rubino held. How many experts does Rubino have? KEEP had various doctors and professors speak about the various health and environmental problems that this plant would cause. Rubino never had a single expert come to defend or question experts that we provided.

The Mantra you will hear is, "Let the PA DEP do their job." Everything will be within their limits. PA has the 3rd worst emissions in the country for greenhouse gases. The DEP does not monitor or regulate this.
